Double honours for Team VIP Petfoods, as the boys race their way to championship glory at the 2006 Wright Patton Shakespeare Carrera Cup.
Craig Baird continued his amazing season form at the Round 5 meet, with another top two finish. Craig is the only driver to have finished no lower then second in any of the races this season, keeping him comfortably on top of the Championship Standings.
Round 5 also saw Tony add to the team’s successful season, by winning the Mobil1 Hard Charger for the round, after making up the most number of grid positions.
After a disappointing Round 4, Team VIP Petfood’s Klark stepped up to the plate, with a fantastic start to Round 5 by qualifying 4th, and finishing Race 3 in 8th position.
Craig remains 176 points ahead of second placed Alex Davison from Paul Cruickshank Racing, with 3 races left in the 2006 season.
The team are now preparing for the much anticipated Round 6 meet at Bathurst from October 5-8.
